Michael A. Ajayi, D.D.S.

Dr. Ajayi was educated at the College of Medicine of the University of Lagos, Nigeria and graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He obtained a degree in Bachelor of Science in Dentistry at the Toronto General Hospital, Toronto, Canada. Dr. Ajayi completed his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan. He became a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1986.

Dr. Ajayi was a consultant Oral Surgeon at the King Khalid Hospital, Hail, Saudi Arabia. He was appointed Assistant Clinical Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the UCSF School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 1991 and is presently a part-time Associate Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, San Francisco.

Dr. Ajayi is married to Lanre, a special education teacher and they have three children. He enjoys traveling, running, and is an avid football and baseball fan. His favorite foot race is the San Francisco Examiner Bay to Breakers race.
